Click the tree to see our Christmas pictures!
Well, I survived Christmas. I would say we all made out like bandits, ESPECIALLY Austin & Christopher. Its been a good weekend thus far. We went to the
Electric Safari at our local zoo. It was amazing to see the animals at night instead of in the day like usual. The lights were incredible too, amost one million lights!! We fed the giraffes, and one of them kept trying to lick us. Next we went to see the Hippos, which are usually pretty boring, but not that night! One of the hippos was playing with a ball in dry land; rolling and bouncing and slamming it into the wall. He finally got it into the water and he kept making it splash out of the water. The otters were as charming as usual. The primates were incredible though. I saw a pregnant silverback gorilla making her nest for the night. The males were sleeping, as it seemed they had a long day and made “primitave art” all over the glass with their poo. And of course I had to go visit the baby orangutan and his mama.
Friday we went to the curch down the street to drive through the lights display. We go every year and are never disapointed.
Saturday Bobby got off work at 11am and we had a laid back at home day. After dinner we watched the Polar Express, drank hot chocolate and then got ready for santa. Austin left a gift for Santa he made and they set out cookies and milk. This morning, they found
this note from Santa, it says

Dear Austin, Christopher & Matthew,

Thank-you both so much for the cookies and milk you left for me. It was very refreshing to get a nice snack and rest on my way through. Whoever decorated them did a fabulous job, I almost felt bad eating them because they looked so nice!!
I hope you enjoy your gifts I brought you this year. Take good care of them; I tried to get you everything on your list. I do have to say, some of the requests were a bit unusual.

I hope you boys have a very merry Christmas. Keep up the good work so you can stay on my “Nice” list. Austin, please stay kind to your brothers. Christopher, continue to work on being a good sport, by not crying. Matthew, teething is hard work, good luck! Listen to your parents and be nice to one another.

Love,
Santa Claus

P.S. Austin, thank-you for the gift, it was very thoughtful of you to think of me. Not many little boys and girls give gifts to me!

They were pleased with all their gifts, and I don’t think I have seen them for more than 20 minutes since they got their new toys. Matthew is worn out, he has been napping most of the day today; which is fine, we are all still sick over here.
Anyways, Happy Everything to everyone.
