I LOVE my XM radio, I listen to it 99% of the time I am in the car. I have been waffling back and forth on switching to Sirius in January, but I don’t want to invest in new equipment. That is why I I visited this webpage where I can enter to get a free Sirius or XM Satellite Radio! Maybe Santa will put a Sirius under my tree.

I just got off the phone with my friend Jennifer, who is new foster mommy, and has three kids in her home. I am so happy for her! Being in the mommy role is so great for her, she is such a great person and was like a second mommy to my boys when we lived in Texas. I got to see pictures of the kids, they are so cute and sweet, especially the baby! There are people who should be parents, and people who shouldn’t; there are people who can have kids, and people who can’t. Why is it you see people who should have kids, who can’t; and people who shouldn’t have kids, who can?

I have a high end Camera (Canon Rebel XT) and a low end 4 in 1 printer. I have been researching printers for a long time, and between people I have talked to, employees at Best Buy, and even an Epson sales representative who all agree that. Epson inkjet printers are the leader in photo printing technology. The printer I will eventually get is the award winning Epson R1800; it is the high end printer that my Canon needs in order for my photos to look their very best. I would love to have a decent photo printer here at the house so I can print my favorite pictures without waiting in line at a photo kiosk for substandard quality prints.

Why do I get the impression that girls are more fascinated with bodily functions than boys? And here I thought it was boys who were more into poop until I watched THREE commercials in a row for urinating or defecating toys geared for girls.
The first toy was Barbie Doll with Tanner the Dog; Tanner is Barbie’s dog that poops, and Barbie comes complete with pooper scooper. If dog poop does not tickle her fancy, she can get a cat that pees instead.

The next commercial was for Baby Alive the doll that says “Uh-oh, I made a stinky” and the lucky little girl gets to change the diapers.
Finally, I saw a commercial for Baby Born, doll complete with diapers and a potty chair.

So, if BOYS had a doll that shat itself, what would it be? Scared in Action G.I. Joe, with realistic crapping action in the face of danger? Come on people!
I am SO glad I have sons!

Bobby’s co-worker loves the show the Dog Whisperer, and one of the things she passed onto him was the trick to simulate a dog bite, much like a pack dog would to the submissive pups. Today Chloe, our 3 1/2 year old Golden Retriever, was tossing around a bone and being overly exuberant and almost nailed the baby in the head with her toy, so Bobby grabbed her by the neck and without hurting her, pushed her to the floor and held her… as if to say “I am the leader of this pack, not you”. It worked like a charm; Chloe got the hint and has been a very gentle obedient girl all evening.
Speaking of pets, the same co-worker has not been sleeping at night. Seems the neighbor’s dog, a Golden Retriever, has been chewing up the inside of the house, and barking all night when it is put outside. Bobby mentioned we had a crate she could give to her neighbor. Knowing how difficult Golden Retriever pups can be (I have had two) I also threw in a bunch of articles on advice for chewing, crate training, and Golden Retrievers, as well as my phone number if she chooses to call for help. While browsing the web I found some neat websites, specifically this one about communicating with pets to meet their needs. Not only was I able to find helpful advice about my husband’s co worker’s neighbor’s dog (say that 10 times fast!), but I was also able to find great articles on my own dogs unique (read annoying) qualities, as well as the kitty who thinks the world is her kitty box.

I almost forgot to mention, Matthew stayed with my friend while I was getting my second panel of blood tests done this morning, and not only did he NOT freak out (he did cry and whine, but only if they looked at him), but he even kissed them both goodbye!
Christopher was NEVER a clingy or fearful of strangers or new situations like Matthew has been, I truly appreciate the differences between my two youngest sons.

Well, as I TOLD my doctor, I do not have high cholesterol, diabetes, or anything else wrong with me… extra weight does NOT automaticly mean I am unhealthy. I DO however have high blood pressure… damn you mom! So, please forgive me if I take a few “sick days” and I am not around as much.
Going to go back to “Bones”, I am running my normal (lately) nightly low grade fever and blah feeling.
