Bobby is taking a class on HTML and web design for his degree, and we are always on the lookout for good websites on HTML, him for his classes, me for blogging. I also LOVE forums because you can often get free help from people who may be experts, or at least more experienced than you, without the messy FAQs and tutorials that may not cover the problem you have. I will defiantly be keeping CodeCall Programming Forum in my favorites for frequent and easy access, especially as Bobby’s classes get harder and go into XML, JSP, CSS, AJAX, web deign, hosting etc. I wish I had been able to find a helpful forum like this one when I took (and failed) Q-Basic way back in the day when I was pursuing at networking degree myself.

90 more minutes until the belt test, and Austin and Christopher are VERY excited! I just hope Bobby can get home from work soon enough to be there. Chances are he will, since we are going to be getting there about 40 minutes early, but there is a chance he may be delayed since he is preparing for teaching his first class next week at work.

Being an Ex-Military family, we are no strangers to moving, and all the challanges that come with it. From moving and packing, to Realtors and storage, we have done it all. Finding such services has never been easy, especially storage since rates vary so much and the phone book is hard to make heads or tales of with so many locations around town. Today I came across this site, Self Storage Directory – Moving.bz, something I wish I had known about years ago, when we often lived in small apartments and frequent moving and storage was always a necessity; base housing has never been known for its spaciousness or ample storage.

As I was walking upstairs to rescue Mr. I-am-too-good-for-a-nap I noticed how quiet it suddenly was. A quick peek in his room revealed a sleeping baby curled in the corner of of his crib. He had thrown his blanket, stuffed animal, and lovey-blanket onto the floor and he was wearing no pants (just a diaper and t-shirt). Thank you Universe for answering my pleas! Silly baby.

Can someone please inform my baby that it is time for him to sleep?? He’s up in his room playing and I am concerned he will be a major crab butt tonight. I am about ready to take him to my room and cuddle him in my bed and then put him back down, but I can’t seem to tear myself away from a two hour Dateline I had not noticed from last week. It is about the recent school shootings and it is just heartbreaking. The poor families of all these innocent victims, my heart breaks for them.

After the boys get their Orange belts, they will be required to buy instep and shin guards to protect themselves and others. While looking at karatedepot.com I ran across some ninja costumes, just in time for Halloween. The costumes seem a bit expensive for one day a year, but they make up for it in quality, I think these uniforms could be used for every day play, or for martial art classes. Both are on sale right now and the website boasts low cost, and fast shipping. Both costumes come with an authentic ninja uniform with hood and mask, a Ninja hardwood bokken; the difference is the deluxe uniform comes with long tabi boots and tabi socks, where the standard uniform comes with rubber sole ninja slippers. With the boys’ new love of Taekwondo; I wonder how long it will be before we have a Ninja for Halloween?

Matthew decided coloring is fun. On… My… WALLS! Oooh, I was so thankful it was pencil and on my door, which is painted in a high gloss oil based paint. I grabbed a rag and showed Matthew how you clean a mess, and then gave him the rag while explaining to him why we color on paper with Mommy’s help, and not on the walls. His brothers have some cleaning to do tonight, since it was their school supplies left out that he used.
