This is the not so live edition of sumnerrain.blogspot.com. I am on location of Christopher & Austin’s Taekwondo class, but unfortunately I cannot find a network in range.
So anyways, I wanted to talk about stupid drivers… I guess by definition I have ‘road rage’, just because I refuse to let someone treat me like an idiot without a friendly of the horn, or a pleasant wave hello of the middle finger. I swear, my house has a one mile idiot zone centered around my house (our block being the calm peaceful eye of course) and anyone outside if this center is a complete jackass on the road. Last week I had some jerk decide to ignore the right-of-way and as I was the first one at the stop sign I was taking a right southbound and he was taking a left southbound also. Well, I guess because he was either young and stupid, or someone died and make him King-of-the-Road because he tried to turn into the drivers side of my van. Well, instead of waiting in the center turn lane (where he should have gone in the first place) he decided that the center lane was suddenly the Daytona Speedway and tried to race me and squeeze in between me and the car in front of me in bumper to bumper traffic with another car in the turn lane less than a block away. Well, he did manage to squeeze in without causing an accident, but barely, and the car on my tail almost rear ended me.
So, tonight, I was in the jerk-zone coming to Tae-Kwon-Do to bring the older two boys to class. I was on a two-way, two-lane street at a stop sign waiting to take a left, when some woman comes up around from behind me and gets into the oncoming traffic lane just so she can take a left before me!
This is just blocks away from my house where I was again at a stop sign trying to take a left and a car waiting in the turn lane in front of me coming to turn onto my street (in the path of my left turn) sat there and looked all pissed off at me for waiting for them to go! They had no stop sign, the right of way, and were blocking my left even if I wanted to go. What is with people tonight?? I would blame Mercury Retrograde, but the first scenario was before Retrograde.
I am just going to go out on a limb and say no one can drive, except for me. LOL
