I just added a link to my Flickr account on my sidebar, in the links section. If you have ever been to my dropshots you will see a lot of the pictures again on Flickr from the last one-two years; but on Flickr my pictures start in 2002.

This puts a whole new meaning to the show, apperently there is a couple in Brazil alleging that their cat had a litter of puppies; or would they be called kippies? Puppens? Kitpies? Puptens?
It will be interesting to see what the lab tests yield. Is this an elaborate hoax? Could it be possible for a cat and a dog to breed?

When we redo our basement and bathrooms, we will be using ceramic tile (like our kitchen, but different colors). I really like the clean simple look of the tile, and I know that it will add value to our home. I am thinking of installing it on an angle because it makes rooms look bigger; our office is large, but my laundry room and bathroom are long and narrow. That is why I was excited when I found this Tile and Stone Sale at www.fastfloors.com.
Fast floors not only has a large selection (16,000 different styles to chose from) but the wesite is super easy to find because you can search by material or color, etc. Fast Floors is the only online store to sell tile & stone, and I hear their sales team really knows their stuff.

Today Bobby and I had another date, this time to a Vietnamese restaurant. I had a chicken noodle bowl that was fabulous. It was like a salad with rice noodles and peanuts. Matthew loved the noodles and the chicken, but he did not much care for the sprouts, cucumbers or carrots.
Today at lunch, Matthew wanted more chicken from my plate, and after showing him once (actually I was showing Bobby and he was watching). He has used it probably a dozen times since then… I am amazed at his progress with his signing.
He also said “help” today verbally. Then threw an incredible tantrum because his cheese was not opened the way he wanted it to be… toddlers!

I have several pet-peeves when it comes to parenting; I am not very patient when it comes to other parents sometimes. My biggest gripe of all is car seat safety, or lack thereof.
There is nothing that will set me off faster than watching a car driving without children in a car seat, children not in a seatbelt, or seatbelts obviously improperly installed. What I mean as ‘obviously improperly installed’ is an infant rear facing only car seat facing forward in the front seat of a car with airbags, handle up, and seatbelt loosely threaded through without a locking clip or a chest buckle.
Austin once saw some little kids jumping around in a car, at least four of them; none of them buckled. He looks over at my mom and says “oh man, if my mom saw this she would be so angry!”
Parents… this is my plea to you. PLEASE read your car seat manual, and read it often. Please keep your children in their booster seats until they are 4’9”. Please keeps your babies rear facing as long as possible, even if their legs are scrunched. Please restrain your children in car seats, boosters or seatbelts EVERY time you drive, even if it is just a couple blocks. Your children are too important.
