Well, Bobby could not find his iPod today, he searched a good two hours for it and when he was running out the door decided to go check my van just to cover all his bases… there is was, in my glovebox where he left it a few weeks back (neither one of us can remember now WHY he had it in my van since his headphones were not out there. I was irritated because I just got him iPod speakers for Christmad, and his iPod would not be cheap to replace. Silly man.

Well, last month I mentioned Austin’s mosquito fish was pregnant, she gave birth on Thursday, but I have been hesitant to write about it because they keep escaping the breeder tank. To read the whole fish story, I suggest you click here and start at the bottom of the page. Austin told me before school on Thursday that Scarlet, his fish, was giving birth. By the time I went to check on her she had 30 fish and was eating them as fast as she could, so I pulled her out of the breeder tank and went about my day.
A few hours later, I took Matthew down with me to see the baby fishies and this time only counted 20, so I figured I must have miscounted, but I noticed my angel fish and a few other swimming around the tank anxiously. Before Taekwondo, Austin and I took Daddy down to see them and this time I only noticed 12. I told him they were escaping and being eaten and to not get his hopes up that any will live. Today there are only 4 living fish (out of the 30+) and 3 dead ones. I guess this is one way to prevent overcrowding…

Matthew refused to nap today, so he is one tired baby. Tonight, around 6, we were at Safeway picking up something quick for dinner and Matthew started dozing off in the produce isle. It was so cute because he would start drifting and close his eyes and we would tickle him and he would smile, but not open his eyes. For a while I thought he was playing possum. Daddy also thought it would be funny to sing part of his new favorite song (Mashed Potatoes- by the Wiggles) and Matthew’s head popped right up and his eyes flew open, it was hilarious. He did get a good 30 minute nap before we woke him up getting him into the van.

Prague seems like such a beautiful and historic city, some place I would love to see when I tour the world some day (when the kids are grown of course). Take a look at this website, especially the new virtual tour of Prague; it has over 12,000 pictures to browse, or take a virtual tour and ‘walk’ the city streets. They also have live webcams, Old Town Square has a beautiful Christmas tree up.

I lost a string of Christmas lights this year, and after pushing through the crowds of Target and Walmart, I left empty handed (they either had outdoor, or clear only). I was complaining to my friend Julia, who suggested that she always had luck at Walgreen’s. Matthew and I headed to the drug store, and sure enough, they had small indoor/outdoor colored bulbs. Now to put them up…more about that on my other blog.
