I am kind of relieved, I am in no mood to entertain. This fever is really draining me, not to mention the let downs of today and feeling “snowed in”. I do have to be thankful we have power.
When we lived in Spokane in 1996 we lost power in an ice storm for over a week. No electricity, no heat, no firewood (it all sold out super fast) and no way to cook our food. The streets were all closed, and because we lived on a hill, cars and buses could not get up the incline. We did have a fireplace, so we burned furniture. My parent’s house had electricity, but they were in Hawaii and I did not have a key. After 48 hours without electricity we went to our roommates grandmother’s house until the power came back. Not long after that we ended up moving to a new house with the roommate, stressful situations like a power outage can bring out the worst in people and we could not stand our other roommate anymore (confused? It was Bobby and I, Bobby’s friend K, and two brothers M, and M living in a four bedroom apartment; the roommate we had a problem with was one of the M’s. The one we moved with was roommate K).
Anyways, even though I am stuck at home, it sure could be worse!

How cute are these clothes? Check out this Nursery Guide to Baby Clothes, where you can find cute, but cool baby and children’s clothes, UV protective wear, and holiday clothes. I love looking at unique baby clothes, I like the idea of my children looking different from the rest of the kids who shop at the local retail stores.

Do you ever have one of those days when you have something happen that makes you feel so let down that you just want to go back today because your day just feels ruined?
Today is one of those days. I am still feverish, so that is not helping; but because of this weather from hell my appointment with the RE was cancelled. I had my hopes up because the answering machine said they were opening back up at noon today. I now just want to go to bed and call it a day. I am supposed to have a friend over this afternoon so she can use my kitchen for baking and I get some of the goodies in return, but if it keeps snowing, there will be no way we can go pick her up. Honestly with the mood I am in, I could honestly care less.
I need to get out of this funk, everything/everyone is pissing me off, from the kids who have cabin fever from their second day home in a row, to the dog who thinks she belongs up my butt.

Well, I guess I can take back what I said about my infertility appointment not being canceled, I have a feeling it will be rescheduled due to the blizzard we are having. Oh joy!
I am also sick, I started getting dizzy last night and started running a fever of about 101.6, I went to bed early and stayed in bed until about 3. I refuse to take anything for it because I want this fever to kill whatever it is my body is fighting, I sure do feel yucky though.
I was also planning on doing all my Christmas baking tomorrow also, but unless this weather clears up and I start feeling better I don’t see that happening either.
