Wah wah wah!

No, it’s not baby A. crying, (though she IS on the floor loudly complaining) but the big baby… me!

I did not want to get up this morning at all. I woke up at 5:20 after a bizarre dream that I just cannot seem to remember right now; but instead of going back to sleep I laid awake thinking maybe I should get up and shower a few minutes early, but I could not bring myself to it and went back to sleep… that was my first mistake. I did end up falling asleep for 10 minutes and then when my alarm went off I felt like I had just been hit by a semi-truck. I hurriedly dressed just knowing baby A. would be here early and got the kids up and going. It would just figure she got here late, I would have loved to hit the snooze button, just once.

So now the dogs are at my feet, the baby is on the floor (she rolled over last night, yay! But now that means no more naps on the chair.) and I am yawning my butt off trying to get up the gumption to make a fruit smoothie for breakfast and figure out what I should tackle for today….if the baby ever naps that is!

Days

Of all the daytime television shows, if I were to watch any it would be Days of our Lives. One of the main reasons is because the show is so timeless. My mom, who used to watch this show, was off work on day when I was about 9 or 10. We were watching television and flipped to Days of our Lives where my mom was able to tell me the story of almost all the characters and be able to keep up with the show even though she had not tuned in for years. My son Austin was even named after a person on the show according to his birth mother.

I was really impressed with how thorough the Days of our Lives section is at Soaps.com. Not only do they have an entire page dedicated to that days show with pictures, but they also have forums connecting viewers to other viewers. They also have spoilers for the next days episode at the bottom of the page. I was very impressed with all the work put into this website.

There be Elephants in my Ceiling…

Oh my goodness, my kids are hyped up on sugar or something, but they sound like elephants playing hop-scotch right above me. How is it a 50 lb kid can make so much noise just getting ready for bed. Heck, the 25 lb one is not much lighter on his toes, I can hear him stomping around up there too. Don’t call them twinkle toes, they won’t answer to it!
