Finding the right cell phone plans can sometimes prove difficult, there is no “one size fits all” plan that fits everyone, so it pays to shop around. Before you start comparing plans, it is helpful to get your priorities in order… will you go with a carrier with limited coverage for the right price? Or do you need a carrier with a large national coverage. How important is price? Will you pay more money for a carrier who has a reputation for better customer service? What type of plan do you need, a family plan; a single plan, but with unlimited minutes to a certain carrier or certain people? How many minutes do you really need?

It is common to comparison shop for your phone to save money, or search for certain features in a phone; but sometimes people forget to do the same with their plans. It is helpful to have a side by side comparison of different companies so you can figure out what features you need and which carrier has them and how much you will pay per month.

Remember, some plans may seem like an exceptional deal, but you may have to sign a contract. If you are o.k. with a contract; that option may save you the most money. But if you don’t plan on staying with that carrier for a term of 1-2+ years, you may incur stiff penalties to break your contract. Others may need a month to month plan, or even a prepaid plan… in the short run you may pay the least for these types on plans, but remember, you will pay more in the long run per minute.

Helper websites like Wirefly can be very helpful in the search of the plan that fits you or your family. Very few wireless stores are all inclusive making all major carriers in one spot with details about the phone offered, plans offered, coverage area, and terms. To truly comparison shop, you need all the details at your finger tips.

Both babies are napping… dare I sigh a breath of relief?? I am afraid if I exhale too much they will both wake up screaming.

Well, I have been somewhat productive… I put the childproof knob covers on the guest bathroom, Austin & Christopher’s room, and my bedroom. I also started a load of laundry and picked up the kitchen a bit. I would like to take a picture of my lilies to share, but that is far down the list of priorities right now.

Bobby, Austin & Christopher are belt testing tonight in Taekwondo. Because of this Bobby is crazy busy at work trying to get finished by 3pm so he can come home and practice with the boys. Because of this I am trying to get all my blogging done before this evening and then try to get my house put back together. I would love to be cleaning now, but I need to vacuum and put away dishes, and both are noisy chores. I know, I know…. “excuses, excuses…” Well yes.. I am tired! LOL

Anyone catch Grey’s Anatomy last night? WOW! Talk about DRAMA!! You would think as addicted to that type of show I am, that I would be into Daytime Television. If I were to get into a Soap Opera, like All My Children, I love that I can go onto soaps.com and catch up on the characters, the back story, previous episodes, ask questions on the message board, and see spoilers. I am so impressed on how well written this website is, how thorough and how professional soaps.com is. All of the daily updates are well written, complete and easy to understand. They also include screen shots from the show itself so you can see what is going on. Soaps.com also has thumbnails of professional pictures of some of the actors/actresses and boy are the actors on that show YUMMY!

I am ready to just go to sleep and call it a day.

I am still sick and when I am not pulling my hair out I am in the bathroom. I started taking my new blood pressure medicine and it is making me dizzy. I have the baby for 8 hours today and she is whining and crying (Bobby said it sounded like someone was trying to kill a cat in my house. I got MAYBE 3 hours of sleep last night. Matthew is into everything, he has gotten in some sort of trouble in every room of my house today. As soon as I bring him in here with me, he wakes up Crybaby who then gets pissed she was disturbed. My house is TRASHED…. after company on Wednesday, being sick yesterday and having both kids and both dogs being needier than normal and my patience being shot to hell, it’s taking all my strength to keep from snapping.

Calgon, take me away!!

I guess I should first admit that I am from another planet, because I am the *only* one on this planet who does not own an iPod. I do understand the hype because my husband has a really nice iPod that he loves and I have got him all sorts of neat accessories like a car adapter, two sets of speakers and some useless software *grumble* *grumble* more about that later. However, I have not let him download much from Apple, because I hate the idea of spending more money on this obsession. Thank goodness for sites that offer Free Podcast hosting and retrieving with unlimited bandwidth! I was just listening to some of the podcasts, and they are pretty interesting.

Don’t forget to check out this Car Insurance website when you are shopping around. ASDA offers many different comprehensive plans for auto insurance with online quotes for persons over 21 or under 21. They also offer third party, fire, and theft insurance. If you have a van, they have plans for them too. ASDA offers many payment options too, like monthly plans (at a small fee).

Lately I have been addicted to these daytime drama shows; Divorce Court, Jude Joe Brown, The People’s Court… I love them all!  Now I am not bad enough to where I have to watch them, but if they are on… I am hooked.  I cannot believe how ignorant some people can be… it reminds me of the women I saw on Cops last week… One woman said “She took my $10!  I tried to buy crack from her and she took my money and did not give me my drugs”.  The second woman said “I did not take her money, I don’t sell drugs.. I am a prostitute!” OH MY GOODNESS!  What kind of defense is that??  Is one evil lesser than the other?

I have been getting paid to blog for four months now. Some months have been more successful than others, but my pay has always been fair for the amount of work I put into it. To this date I have been paid for 200 posts and made $1270.18. If I took more opportunities (or opps for short) I would actually have a higher earning potential of up to $1000 a month.

I won’t lie to you, there are some days I chose not to do any opps, or any blogging for that matter… and that is OK! How many people can tell their employer that they just don’t feel like working today and have their boss not care? I also don’t know many employers that don’t expect their employers to put more than 20 minutes of work (or less) at a time, saying and doing what they please, and picking their own tasks they wish to complete.

So far, Pay Per Post has partially paid for my new kitchen table, partially funded Christmas, and gone towards paying Credit Card Debt. My goal for my money from here is to put it into our savings account to go towards either fixing our fence, paying off Credit Cards, or a down payment for our next home.

Matthew is now 23 months and 6 days; I can barely believe he is going to be two years old in less than a month.  Before I got pregnant with him I knew that there were some things I wanted to do differently with him.  For one I wanted to try cloth diapering, and I wanted to try natural childbirth, and I wanted to wear him in a sling… but none of those were set in stone.  In fact I ended up being induced and 5 hours into the induction I was begging for an epidural.

However there was ONE issue that was non-negotiable for me; and that was breastfeeding.   I knew that  I would nurse Matthew until at least his first birthday, but I never dreamed I would be able to make it this close to his second birthday.  I am not sure we will make it much farther, I cannot even predict if we will actually make it to his 2nd birthday (he only nurses a few minutes every 1-3 days), but I do know I made the very best decision for my family and I.

Matthew now asks for more “moo” (cow’s milk) than “boo” (mama’s milk); but boo offers comfort and cuddling that moo cannot.  I regret not trying harder with Christopher, who nursed for 5 months.  I took the advice of others who told me to supplement with formula; and I feel that was the beginning of the end.  We also had other issues, thrush, low supply, inexperience and lack of a solid support team.

If you are breastfeeding, or planning on breastfeeding make sure you have a solid support team in place (friends, family, medical staff, La Leche League, etc), read up on it (the internet, The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding book), and have a goal set in place… the AAP recommends exclusively breastfeeding until at least 6 months when you introduce solids, but still making breastfeeding the main source of nutrition until at least the first birthday; and this was my goal.  The World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding for as long as mutually desirable between mother and child.  If we have another child, my goal will be 18-24+ months.

Review My Post is a new program from PayPerPost to increase blog traffic for the blogger, introduce non PPP bloggers to Pay Per Post, while both get paid for doing so.

Pay Per Post, in my opinion, is a great way to earn some extra cash while doing something I love, blogging. Recently they just rolled out with a new Beta and with it came some new features, upgrades, and programs. Sign up is easy, and the earning potential can be large or small, however often you chose to blog, and how many blogs you chose to use Pay Per Post on.

Review My Post is just one of the exciting ways for bloggers to be paid… some other ways are posting, referrals, and now Review My Post where you can split your referral amount between your readers. Once you have an active blog (or more) you may take 3 posts per day per blog earning between $5-15 (more or less) per post. At the end of 30 days you will receive a cash payout sent to your PayPal account. To sign up you will need to provide your Tax ID (Social Security Number) since you will need to claim your earnings on your Federal & State Taxes. Pay Per Post provides you with the appropriate 1099 tax forms to make this easier.
